Ali Pazirandeh

After graduating with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in Iran, I undertook the study of Logistics in an International Master Programme at the University College of Borås, Sweden, where I finished up my work towards a Masters of Science. Subsequently, I have specialised and focused on logistic support systems, packaging and risk analysis techniques. 

Major achievements during this period have included my Masters Thesis project, to assess different packaging materials on a cost basis for Volvo Logistic Corporation.  I have also been successful in achieving a Bachelor of Engineering at the Department of Railway Engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology. During the last year, I have also been working at the University College of Borås both in a number of projects and as a teachers assistant in the areas of logistics, management of operations and risk management.

Currently I have started my PhD studies at LTH within Sustainable Supply Chains, focusing on the reduction of CO₂ in the transportation of Hi-Tech goods on a global scale. I also coordinate the Supply Chain Information Systems course along other faculty duties.
