Theoretical Platform for Integrated Supply chain and Business Law Decisions
This project is a cross-functional cooperation between the Division of Engineering Logistics, and the Department of Business Law (Lund University School of Economics and Management).
The overall purpose of the research project is to start to close the gap between the fields of logistics & supply chain management, and business law by exploring and understanding what challenges companies face within this cross section, by structuring and defining problem areas, and by start developing a joint theoretical platform. The purpose of this first phase of a project in this area is to
- invent and understand legal/fiscal (including vat, tax etc) challenges and issues companies face when they are changing their supply chain & logistics structures and processes, and
- invent, structure and further develop a combined theoretical platform for a supply chain management and business law related issues.
As the purpose of this research is to create awareness of and stress important issues of a relatively little discussed topic, it is explorative research.
The project is financed by Vinnova.
