Therefore, are we at 4C Strategies developing our offering within SCRM towards our customers and as part of that we want to do this study. The ambition for this study is to investigate the practices organizations use to manage supply chain risks, with a particular emphasis on resilience-building strategies.

  1. To identify the risk management practices organizations use to build resilience in their supply chains.

  2. To understand how organizations identify and assess risks within their supply chains.

  3. To explore the control mechanisms organizations implement to manage their most important suppliers.

  4. To analyse the role of organizational structure and responsibility in supply chain risk and resilience management.

Methodology

The research will adopt a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data from a questionnaire survey with qualitative insights from interviews.

Expected Outcomes

The study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of current supply chain risk management practices across different types of organizations and industries. It will identify commonalities and differences in approaches, highlight best practices, and offer recommendations for building resilient supply chains. Insights gained from this research could be valuable for practitioners seeking to enhance their supply chain risk management strategies and for policymakers aiming to support organizational resilience.
